Slovenia's crime rate is low and you're unlikely to have much
contact with Slovene police ( policija ); if you do, they're generally
easy-going and helpful, but unlikely to speak English. As far as health
is concerned, citizens of the EU are entitled to free health care.
Pharmacies ( lekarna ) tend to follow normal shopping hours, and a rota
system covers night-time and weekend opening; details are posted in the
window of each pharmacy.
